Student Programming

Bringing the magic of opera to young people across Memphis

Overview

In‑School Programs from Opera Memphis is designed to immerse students—from Pre‑K through high school—in the world of live opera. Our professional artists visit schools to deliver high-energy, interactive performances, fostering a love for music and story through accessible, curriculum-aligned presentations.

We also present or co-present other family and youth programs throughout the year, including our Christmas Fiesta and our upcoming show at The Halloran Center!

Core Program Components

The Spring Tour introduces key opera themes—heroism, humor, friendship—while aligning with classroom learning objectives.
