Whether you have been with us for years or you are joining for the first time, there are two ways to subscribe this season. Current subscribers renew by phone during a priority window. New subscribers can sign up online. Both reserve a full season of seats in one step and unlock the same subscriber benefits.

Renewing subscribers get a priority window to renew and keep their seats before new subscriptions open to the public. A quick call confirms your package, updates your contact details, and answers any questions.

Before the curtain

All sales are final, Opera Memphis does not issue refunds or exchanges. If you can’t make it, contact the Box Office at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll convert your tickets into a tax-deductible donation. The seats then go to other patrons, often local students.
Performances begin promptly at the stated start time. Ushers will seat late patrons only until the overture has concluded, typically no later than ten minutes after curtain. Patrons not in their seats by then forfeit their tickets, so give yourself a buffer for Memphis traffic and parking.
Children ages 4 and under are not permitted at indoor opera productions, except for events specifically intended for children and families. Each patron, including children, must have a ticket. If you’re bringing young kids, aisle seats give the easiest access to the lobby.
Student rush tickets are $10 and available at the theater lobby beginning one hour before each performance. Bring a valid student ID, one ID per ticket. Rush tickets are subject to availability and are not sold online or by phone.
Photography and the use of recording devices during a performance are strictly prohibited. Please silence and stow all cell phones before the lights go down. Selfies before, after, and at intermission are very much encouraged.
Parking depends on the venue. The Germantown Performing Arts Center has a spacious on-site lot, parking is free. The Dixon Gallery and Gardens has free parking – but be prepared to walk to the Morrow Lawn. Either way, arriving early makes life easier.
Opera Memphis is a come as you are company. Some patrons choose to dress in ball gowns/tuxedos, whereas, others will dress in jeans and nice shirts. However, we do suggest that anyone who tends to be cold should consider bringing a sweater in case the performance venue is chilly.
